 LODGING AND HOUSE RENTALS

January is off season in Sedona so look for and negotiate "deals"  and deep discounts.

Sedona boasts more than one hundred inns, motels, hotels, resorts, and timeshares.  There are charming B & B's, franchise hotels, independently owned inns, high end resorts and low end budget motels.  There is an RV park in town and camping areas in Oak Creek Canyon.  There is an abundance of houses for vacation rental purposes.  In January you should be able to negotiate a good price, possibly 20-25% or more off house rentals.

Sedona is a small town, one can drive from one end to the other in about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.  There is one main street called Hwy. 89A. Most of the lodging accommodations will be along this route.   Hwy.179 is the other main road coming from the south through the Village of Oak Creek, a "suburb" about 5 miles south of Sedona and referred to by locals as VOC.  VOC is a bit less expensive in room prices, has great restaurants, is quieter and in the Bell Rock energy.  Sedona has more choices for dining and activities.

Sharing costs for accommodations and transportation:

If you are interested in sharing accommodations or transportation with others attending the class, please let me know and I will pass on  your information to anyone else who is interested in sharing.  This could cut your costs considerably.  Please state your preference, i.e. male/female sharing, doubles or multiples, hotel, house rental, etc. etc.

Also there is www.schoolofarcana.org/forum  where students of Almine can communicate.

Here is a list of accommodations.   Quoted prices are for standard rooms with either 2 Queen beds or 1 King bed. Please confirm the rates, number of beds etc.  Upgrading is available with most rooms.
